NOVEON OFFERS CARBOSET CR-715 FOR DIY CLEAR WOOD Noveon offers Carboset CR-715 acrylic copolymer provides clarity, chemical resistance and durability in a wide variety of DIY clear wood applications, including brushing varnishes and flow finish topcoats. Designed primarily for use in interior DIY clear wood brushing varnishes, Carboset CR-715 is an excellent blending vehicle for Sancure polyurethane dispersions, according to the company. Coatings produced with CR-715 exhibit a natural appearance on wood, drying to a clear film and offering good depth of image and can be used in applications requiring either high-gloss or satin finishes. It demonstrates outstanding resistance to household stains and chemicals, offering long-term durability that exceeds that of traditional non-selfcrosslinking acrylics.
